Nuclear Umbrellas or Political Shields? The Strategic Truth Behind the Mecca Defense Agreement

Mecca Joint Defense Agreement:
What is the role of Turkey and Pakistan in Saudi Arabia’s war with the Houthis of Yemen -Since this agreement is secret – that is, the contents are not known, but a lot has become clear from the recent war, therefore I present to you my point of view.

From Khawaja Asif’s statements, the recent behavior of Turkey and Pakistan, and the situation of the fighting, I conclude that if a war occurs between two Muslim countries, then the parties will make peace between them and will remain neutral – just as Saudi Arabia and Turkey are neutral in the Pakistan and Afghanistan war. Similarly, in the Houthi and Saudi fight, and if Turkey has a war with the Kurds, the parties will not take part.

But if there is a threat to the holy sanctuaries, then Turkey and Pakistan will jump into the war. That is why Khawaja Asif has stated that the agreement can be activated at any time, and that is why Saudi Arabia has also talked about shooting down a drone coming towards Mecca. But since Turkey and Pakistan are not yet sure that this could also be an attempt from Israel to drag them into the war, nothing has happened so far. But God forbid, if something like that happens, then it will become obligatory for both to jump into the war (this is my analysis keeping a deep eye on the situation).

However, the next clauses of the agreement will be that if the war is with Israel or India, then all parties will consider it an attack on all, and the affected country will get as much help as it asks for according to its need.

Now Saudi Arabia has done this brilliantly that against Israel it has taken Pakistan’s nuclear umbrella, but against Iran and the Houthis it has taken the umbrella of Israel and America – from the meeting that took place in Germany, this is the conclusion that emerges.
